Bose Knows
The leader in sound makes listening easier than ever before

Two very special things occurred this past July 12th. First, I celebrated my 28th birthday (thank you, thank you). The second event was my roommate’s gift of my first iPod. Yes, the music-junkie lifestyle that I lived was strictly confined to the frequented spins of formatted plastic and acetated vinyl. She handed me the small device and gave that “live long and prosper” nod once I began to examine it. I was happy to receive the gift, but soon remembered my pet peeve with the product—the headphones.
The small, white buds that were included reduced Frank Zappa’s explosively-eccentric Peaches En Regalia to a substandard hiss and pop. I want that bang and funk along with the all encompassing acoustics when I listen to music. After one day of tolerance, I sought out the remedy to sate my listening needs. Store after store present trumped up versions of what I already had, but then I found Bose’s latest masterpiece.
The Bose In-Ear Headphones puts the competition to shame. For starters, the design caters to your ear without falling out every time you move. In addition, the patent Bose noise-reducing technology makes the music the objective. This ensures a top-of-the-line experience no matter where you’re jamming. The sound quality of these headphones brings the concert hall to you. Seriously, I could hear every skin being struck on Art Blakey’s Elephant Walk in its clarity. This is brought to your ears by the ingenious TriPort structure of the headphones. Bose has it all. Thanks to them, my morning commutes on the Q Train are more pleasant and Bebel Gilberto puts me to sleep in perfect pitch.
