Apple MacBook Air
Innovation, Extreme Mobility and Style
It has become clear that there will be few (if any) limitations to the achievements of science in the new century, since the apple—the quintessential symbol of the material world’s submission to gravitational force—has emerged as the leader in the race to beat the invisible beast. Newton, Einstein and Hawkins couldn’t have imagined that a black hole or binary star would meet its match in the form of a laptop that is the size and thickness of a catalog envelope. Perhaps Apple Computers have yet to set their sights on such lofty, interstellar goals. But for professionals who are more comfortable in a terminal at lax than in the break room, Apple’s MacBook Air couldn’t have come at a better time.
While working folk are routinely met with the global economy’s challenge of omnipresence, Apple has sought to relieve some of the burden by greatly reducing their laptops weight and size. Weighing in at 3 pounds and measuring 0.16-inch at its thinnest point and only 0.76-inch at its thickest, the MacBook Air has redefined mobile technology. Despite possessing dimensions that defy convention, it maintains a stunning 13.3-inch widescreen led display, a full-size keyboard, and large multi-touch track pad. True to form, Apple has continued to glorify the intangible. Part artistic conception, part philosophic quandary and all business, the Air’s primary features are rooted in its wireless capabilities. Storing data, renting movies and transferring pictures to your desktop are all done via its built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection. So cut the wires and dismiss the discs. A disparity in physical girth wouldn’t necessarily prevent Welter Weight boxer Pretty Boy Floyd from punishing Super Heavy weight Butter Bean. The intangibles are the key to victory in any sweet science. And what the MacBook Air lacks in size it makes up for in innovation, extreme mobility and style.

Have you considered your bone health lately? Perhaps it’s time to think more about one of the most common diseases in the u.s.—osteoporosis, which is often considered “the silent disease.” While the bone loss and weakening that characterizes osteoporosis can occur without symptoms, a bone fracture is often the first indication of the disease’s onset.
